These 10" tapers are cast in a colonial tin mold with a square-braid cotton wick. The bottoms have some give to allow you to mold them with your thumbs/fingers to a standard taper holder or candelabra. The beeswax is dyed black using a vegetable-based dye that is safe to burn.
