Melanie Popp is a teaching artist, visual storyteller and printmaker who lives, works and forest bathes on Tiger Mountain near Issaquah, WA. She explores themes of nature, storytelling, caregiving and maternal power through her relief prints. After a decade of artmaking, teaching and studying in The Bay Area, Minneapolis and Helsinki she has finally settled down in the Pacific Northwest wonderland and is trying to grow roots for the first time in her life. The breathtaking Pacific Northwest forestscape and constant chaos of parenting wild mountain children provides endless opportunity for inspiration and adventure.
