오울(Marie Sevila O) was born in 1992, grew up in Seoul, the Republic of Korea. She has pursued her career as an artist since 2019. When she was 27 years old, she began to paint abstracts more seriously than how she did before then as a joke. Her works are mistreating often by their looks, but it definitely shows various mental depths from naive kiddings to the heavy selection of organized elements. It simply is bipolar, thus, her artworks exist to have a signal of illness or fair news. It’s all about the humanity-also the life matter how we are gonna survive. She’s into punk and 50s to 80s modern art of America. She thinks that many things are hamburgers anyways. She’s been largely influenced by European and American culture, shamelessly, she’s a Coréen, whatever she does is about the east.
